Cheryl Buggy (cheryl@cherylbuggy.co.uk)

Cheryl has been a teacher and a journalist. She works with students of all ages and is passionate and commited to helping staff and students to achieve their potential.

Cheryl speaks about Emotional Intelligence all over the world. She has written the programmes that we base our school work around and was the project co-ordinator for the initial Discovery pilot scheme. She works closely with senior managers and has developed the Discovery EI leadership package to help schools, businesses and organisations move towards more effective, productive and ‘people-smart’ efficiency.

Cheryl is still actively involved in Radio journalism and regularly contributes to educational publications on the subject of Emotional Intelligence.

Cheryl's book 'Effective Memory Techniques' published by Hodder and Stouhton is avaliable in bookshops.


Tora Eastwood

Tora works with Drama Therapy. relaxation, meditation and a wide range of other complimentry approaches. She is experienced at working with students and leads workshops on a wide range of nurturing and ‘feel-good’ subjects.

Tora is also involved in theatre productions and was the co-ordinator behind the hugely successful ‘Discovery Show’. This celebrated all the work that the students in the initial pilot scheme had done and filled the Kings Theatre in Portsmouth.


Val Tudor

Val is the Discovery Admin Officer. She looks after the contact side of our work and is often the first person that an interested school or organisation will speak to. Val has worked for Discovery for the last four years.
